PITTSBURGH — I’ve always heard that PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates, is spectacular.
Now I can confirm that based on personal experience.
My sons Brady and Keaton and I traveled to Pittsburgh to see our beloved Texas Rangers play Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon.

We had a wonderful time, and the Rangers even staged a thrilling, come-from-behind win Wednesday — including a game-tying grand slam by Hunter Pence in the eighth inning. The home crowd didn’t seem to enjoy the late-inning drama, but the heavy contingent of Texas fans who showed up sure did.
